art in nursing home on plastimo with art for science

The Art for Science association, which we actively support, inaugurated the art gallery at the Ephad de la Sarra in Lyon at the end of January 2025. The works of art by the association’s member artists are printed on our ultra-light panels and placed in the common areas of the establishment.

The interaction around the works animated by Catherine Lemaire triggers all the emotions that art in general provides. A lively exchange followed between the residents, giving this day of sharing a unique social and therapeutic dimension. The inauguration was also in the presence of the artist Emilie Lacour who presented magnificent cyanotype works.

Works of art printed on 5mm PLASTIMO panels, PE coated paper protecting it from humidity and making it cleanable. The works are hung on the wall using 3M Adhesive Velcro.

All participants, whether residents or institutions (town hall, journalist, facilitators, artists, nursing staff) noted the visible benefits of the workshops. They were able to appreciate the very good printing quality as well as the ease of handling thanks to the lightness of the panels, ideal, especially for residents in nursing homes and hospitals.

We are proud to support Art for Science, whose mission is to help everyone overcome their difficulties through the discovery of their own creative and cerebral potential.
